Las Brisas

STORY

Rioblanco is a municipality tucked away in the mountains of the south of the department of Tolima in Colombia. It is in the skirt of the central mountain range of Colombia and 47% of its area belongs to the National Natural Park of Las Hermosas. It is the third biggest munici-pality of the department, very mountainous with an elevation range from 900 to 4,000 masl, with an amazing climate and hydric resources.

Many of the producers from the municipality of Rioblanco who deliver coffee to Las Brisas come from farming families and whose farms have been passed through generations. These small-scale coffee producers are passionate about coffee and dedicated to working in agriculture. Even though sometimes the hard weather and history of guerrilla violence in the area in the past, they always have a smile and are full of friendship towards others.
